Reem works in the social impact and innovation space. She has managed projects aimed at capacity-building, partnership development and community engagement, in areas including social investment, mental health, sustainability and social tech. Prior to that she spent five years in international trade and export finance, before shifting to the nonprofit arts sector, where she led on a number of strategic and collaborative programmes at the Arab Image Foundation in Beirut and Shubbak Festival in London.

Reem is a fellow of the On Purpose impact economy leadership development programme, and holds an MSc in Economics and Economic History from the London School of Economics. She also has an MA in Documentary Photography from the University of the Arts London, and enjoys dabbling in art projects. She is currently based in London.
